Would you like to join ISCA AC for the 2025 season?

We have vacancies for the 2025 season.

If you would like to join ISCA AC then please contact the club secretary using the CONTACT US menu option on the ISCA AC Website

The cost of membership is £260 with a joining fee of £50 for new members. This entitles you to fish for salmon, sea trout and brown trout all days of the week from the season start (3rd March) to the end of the fishing season (17th October).

ISCA Angling Club is best known for the salmon fishing we can offer at Newbridge-on-Usk but we also offer excellent trout fishing on ISCA beats between Abergavenny and Usk Town. On these beats there is also always the chance of catching a salmon under the right conditions. 3 salmon were caught on one of these beats alone in 2024 by ISCA anglers.

In total, ISCA anglers caught 23 salmon in 2024 which was the same number as in 2023. This represents more than one quarter of the total river catch in 2024. Although the catches the last years have been disappointing and the continuous decline in the Usk salmon stock is concerning then catching a salmon on our beats is always possible with a bit of luck, skill and time spent on the river. One ISCA angler caught 7 salmon during the 2024 season and the same angler also caught 7 salmon in 2023.

The image below shows some happy ISCA anglers with salmon caught during the 2024 season.
